Standard Imaging Protocols
MRN uses standard imaging protocols for most studies, which includes standard scanning parameters and naming schemes for basic imaging methods. Study-specific imaging techniques can also be included if needed. Click here for a list.
MRI Analysis Software
MRN has an automated data pipeline that collects, organizes, and processes 3T MR data. For more information, click here. Additional software is also available:
- AFNI > from the National Institute of Mental Health; runs on Unix+X11+Motif systems.
- SPM > MATLAB software package from the Wellcome Department of Imaging Neuroscience at University College London
- FSL > runs on Apple, PCs (Linux and Windows) and Sun; from the University of Oxford's FMRIB Centre
- Freesurfer > available for Linux and Mac OS X operating systems; from CorTechs and the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Bioimedical Imaging at Harvard University
